Maintenance Fitter - Conveyors, packaging & motors - 1 month Temp

Day shift. Western suburbs. Opportunity to develop a career with a food manufacturing & processing facility performing maintenance and installations.

Opportunity to develop a career with an Australian owned high speed manufacturing & processing facility in Melbourne. Located in the western suburbs, this role will undertake maintenance challenges & multiple opportunities to further your maintenance skills.

We are currently looking for trade qualified maintenance fitters with a background in production or processing - preferably within a maintenance capacity.

The role will present challenges in the form of preventative and reactive maintenance works on conveyors, gear boxes, roller presses, fault finding on line machinery & motors, hydraulics & pneumatics, interpreting engineering drawings, some new installations and upgrades.

Ideally we will be looking for someone who possesses good knowledge of manufacturing machines, process packaging lines, pneumatics, electronic controllers, switches and instrumentation, some MIG welding, conveyors and motor control.

To qualify for this role you must possess a trade qualification, a pnuematics and hydraulics experience and the eligibility to work within Australia.
